Terms of Sale / Returns

Some items, particularly errors and varieties may be illustrated with a "normal" to emphasise differences. Unless specifically stated to be included in purchase price normal examples may not be included, although in many instances when available they will be included at no extra cost.

All items are sent on approval for 30 days against full payment.

I offer a full no quibble refund policy on all items returned in original condition within 30 days. Items should be returned using the secure packaging materials in which sent or similar.

If item is returned due to an error on my part (incorrect item, condition not as described....) your return postage charges will also be refunded.

If  on the rare occassion there is a need to return an item please use a method of delivery that requires a signature on receipt. Proof of your having posted an item is not proof that I have received it.

Items sold with the  recognised certificates of authenticity

As with all items I sell, certificated items may be returned within 30 days on my "no quibble" refund basis so long as received back in original condition.

The following terms and clarification are a consequence of a buyer seeking a refund for an item purchased over 9 years earlier!

If a buyer wishes to obtain their own certificate on items purchased through my websites they must inform me of this within 30 days. I will then grant an extension.  It is important that I am informed within 30 days, as expertisation can often take many weeks and not infrequently months. I will not refund items several months after purchase if a certificate has been obtained that does not meet expectations unless an extension has been agreed.

I will not refund items returned with certificates from another expertisation committee that disputes the opinion of any certificate I have provided from either the BPA or RPSL expertisation. Certificates of authenticity are effectively just the opinion of an expert body and should be accepted and respected as such. To clarify and as previously stated certificated items purchased are still eligible for a full refund if returned within 30 days, but refund will not be given after 30 days if a contesting expertisation received.
